2011 USPC FESTIVAL - LEXINGTON, KY
Layne and Allison, members of the HOT Pony Club, competed with the Red River Region in the Quiz portion of this years national competition. They braved the super hot and humid weather, made some new friends, watched great International Pony Clubbers compete and even snagged a few cherished Canada pins. They did a fantastic job of representing Heart of Texas and Red River.
PONY Club?????????
"Pony" is an English term for horse. Our members have horses of every size, age, breed, registered and unregistered. Members do not have to own the horse and a horse can be shared between riders. You can even be a member of pony club without a horse and participate in quiz rallies, horse management and unmounted meetings.
A Great Tradition
Heart of Texas Pony Club (formally Huaco Pony Club) has deep roots in Waco and surrounding communities. For almost 30 years children and youth from ages 5 to 25 have participated in this local chapter. The same basic principal applies today as it did in the beginning: "Ride Safe and Have Fun!"
